Nick Miller, BHT / Behavioral Health Technician

Nick Miller is a new team member and behavioral health technician at Family Strategies. With over seven years of experience in working with special needs children, he is passionate about helping children overcome obstacles and issues that may cause distress to both the child and their families. He is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and is an active member of the Arizona Association for Play Therapy. Nick earned a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and is currently working towards his Master of Arts in Counseling from Ottawa University.

Nick's experience also makes him a good fit for adolescents looking to address issues with self-esteem, anxiety, depression and trauma. He is currently working with a team of therapists at Family Strategies within the YouthSTAR program; helping young men overcome unwanted sexual behavior.

Nick has two primary loves in his life: his beautiful wife, Skylar, and his passion for music as he is also a songwriter and musician.
