Kim Buck, LPC / Clinical Supervisor
Kim Buck is a Licensed Counselor who received her education and training from Ottawa University. She has broad training, education, and experience in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups in a variety of mental health settings. Kim has worked as an intern at Calvary Center in Phoenix Arizona which is an in-patient treatment and rehabilitation facility for adults suffering from substance abuse and dependence. Kim also completed an internship with Parents Anonymous in Phoenix Arizona where she facilitated parenting courses for individuals seeking to improve their parenting skills and relationships with their small children and adolescents. She also has specialized training from the Oklahoma Traumatology Institute in the field of traumatology, including crisis intervention, as well as working with survivors of disasters, both human and natural.
Kim has extensive experience working with spouses, parents, families, and friends of those suffering with addictive and compulsive behaviors as well as addicted individuals themselves. She also works with a team of therapists at Family Strategies & Coaching who are certified to administer the LifeSTAR program which deals specifically with sexual compulsivity and codependency.
Kim has been happily married for 24 years and has two grown children.
