John McLean, LAC / Psychotherapist

John McLean received his education from Arizona State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. He also has a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University, having majored in trauma abuse and deprivation.

John has extensive training in helping individuals and families with sex addiction, unwanted same-sex attraction, codependency, childhood trauma, anxiety, depression and substance abuse.

John completed a one-year internship at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, an in-patient treatment facility for substance abuse wherein he facilitated group therapy, created treatment plans and counseled individuals struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, as well as crisis intervention.

John is certified in Time Line Therapy, a successful treatment for clients with past traumatic experiences.

Currently John works with the professional LifeSTAR staff at Family Strategies specializing in treating individuals struggling with sex addiction and co-dependency through a proven three-phase program.
