Daniel Garner, BHT / Behavioral Health Technician
Dan Garner is currently finishing his Master's degree in Counseling from Northern Arizona University and is excited to be an intern at Family Strategies and Coaching.
Dan became interested in counseling when he was teenager after seeing the affect that good counseling had on people that he knew and loved. Since then he has taken every possible opportunity to learn about happy and healthy human development and adjustment, and has experience working with people from various backgrounds, family situations, cultures and religions.
Dan has a strong understanding of unwanted sexual addiction and attraction issues, and is becoming specialized in this area of practice. Due to his passion for these issues, Dan makes himself available to give presentations, seminars and consultations to ecclesiastical leaders and other organizations. Dan has also worked with teens, adults and couples concerning depression, anxiety and relationship skills including working at a therapeutic horse ranch for teenage boys dealing with trauma and behavior issues. Dan has enjoyed being a part of peoples' struggles to progress in their lives.
Dan can be reached at (480) 668-8301 for any and all questions.
