About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

We guide individuals and families to find healing and growth, by providing therapeutic, educational and coaching services, in an atmosphere of compassion, confidentiality and challenge.

THE WORLD IS FILLED WITH CONFUSION

Unexpected problems confront families, individuals and youth on a daily basis. Sometimes problems have been escalating over a longer period of time without an obvious solution. The suffering this can generate may be overwhelming. Relationships and personal standards may begin to crumble. Frequently these issues are embarrassing or too difficult to verbalize. Our mission is to guide families and individuals toward solutions.

Our specialized team of therapists can help to sort through the confusion and suffering. We have many years of experience with many different mental health issues. These therapists are trained within various specialties. An individual treatment plan is developed and written for every client scenario.

We understand... and we can help.

CREDENTIALING

Family Strategies is a licensed as an Outpatient Treatment Center (OTC-6492) by the Arizona Department of Health Services Medical Licensing Division. We are an approved graduate internship site for the following universities: Ottawa University, Northern Arizona University, Fuller Seminary, University of Phoenix, and BYU Idaho. Additionally, our supervisors are approved by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health to provide clinical supervision for the licensing of therapists.

SERVICES

Our services include individual therapy for adults, youth and children, as well as group and family therapy. We facilitate specialized programs for a variety of mental health issues. We also provide educational workshops and seminars within the community upon request.

INSURANCE

We are contracted as a facility with Blue Cross Blue Shield to provide services.

Family Strategies & Coaching is contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona as a PPO “Outpatient Behavioral Health Facility”. When verifying your insurance eligibility and benefits you must specifically inquire using that title. We are not licensed as a professional private practice, and our therapists are not contracted individually. You will get the most accurate benefit information if you call the member services number on your card and speak to a representative.

While our billing department works to bill quickly, we do not often know what will be paid on a claim until it has been submitted and an EOB has been returned. Therefore, the client is responsible for verifying with their insurance carrier to determine benefits prior to receiving services. The client assumes all financial responsibility for services received at Family Strategies & Coaching.

You may direct your billing questions to Kaleen by emailing kgodfrey@familystrategies.org
